where is the best place to stay in Florida?
Q. i want to go on vacation to florida this summer but where is the best beaches and hotels in Florida, or in other words, your favorite place in Florida and why?
thanks!
thanks!
A. The Tampa Bay Area has many great beaches. Clearwater is great and Caladesi Island is excellent, in fact, named top beach in the U.S. Caladesi Island doesn't allow cars, so you take the ferry from Clearwater Beach. It's beautiful white sand beach, clean, and worth the trip. Clearwater Beach has many good sightseeing cruises you can enjoy. Tampa has Busch Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo, and The Florida Aquarium. I stayed in Clearwater when I vacationed there, so I was centrally located to everything. It was a fantastic trip.
What is there to do for enjoyment in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida?
Q. I am going to be visiting Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida at the end of July and beginning of August and I would like to know what is there to do for enjoyment in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida?
A. There are so many sites and activities to enjoy. Clearwater Beach (beach, boating, and the Pier at night), Tarpon Springs (sponge docks), concerts at Jannus Landing and other venues in St. Petersburg and Tampa Amplitheater or St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, plays at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg or Tampa Performing Arts Center, Dali Art Museum, Rays baseball in St. Pete, nightlife in YBor City, dinner cruise from Tampa and St. Petersburg, casino cruise ship out of John's Pass, shopping at International Plaza in Tampa, wonderful dining (everything from Italian to Pacific rim cruisine, hamburgers and fries at Five Guys, barbeque, seafood, Korean, Thai, steak houses (Charlie's, Bern's, Fleming's, Ruth's Cris), Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island in Tampa and so many others. I would suggest that you pick up brochures at any hotel or ask the concierge. I hope that you have a wonderful time on the west coast.
The Lowry Hotel in Manchester?
Q. In the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, are you allowed to just visit the resturant and bar without booking a room and being a guest at the hotel? Its just because someone who came to Manchester to visit stayed in the Lowry and commented how lovely the food was and thought i might give it a try sometime, but would be extremely embarrsed to get there to be told i cant.
A. Yes no problem, you can eat there and go for a drink without staying in the Hotel.
Although I would advise you book a table beforehand and dress reasonably smartly.
