Has anyone gotten a cheap hotel price on PriceLine?

Q. I don't want a cheap flight, just a cheap hotel. For instance, Cedar Tree Inn and Suites is usually $60 per night. But on PriceLine, the fees are chopped for $38 per night.

Is there a downfall to this? I called the hotel and they just said I would have to do it through PriceLine and pay them, and then they would pay the hotel later.

A. Yes, many times.

You might want to check out the sites biddingfortravel.com or betterbidding.com, which has lists of winning bids, how to bid, etc.

Which are the cheapest hotels in Paris and cheapest flights to France from Karachi, Pakistan.?
Q. Hey.. I wanna go to Paris this Summer but I am a budget tourist. So which are the cheapest hotels in Paris. They should be cheap but quality should be likely. And which are the cheapest flights for Paris from Karachi, Pakistan.
Thanks in Advance.

A. If you're looking for the very cheapest of hotels in Paris it wouldn't be right to expect quality. They're cheap for a reason. Go to Expedia and enter the dates in which you plan to go (be sure to click "Flight + hotels") and then it will give you a long list of all of the hotels in Paris. You can then sort by price and find the cheapest available. If you book both flight and hotel on Expedia you are given a sizable discount. Here's their website: http://www.expedia.com/default.asp
The site also offers customer reviews of people who have stayed at each hotel. If you're going to stay at a 1-3 star then customer reviews will most certainly help you narrow down your search to a quality hotel or two.

Your plane ticket from Karachi will be expensive, that is almost certainly unavoidable. Most of the 1-2 star hotels in Paris are on the outskirts of the city, forcing you to take some form of transportation, which will cost money obviously. So I would recommend looking at quality 3 stars in a convenient location in Paris rather than an inconvenient and cheap hotel outside of Paris. When you've narrowed down your search of hotels be sure to look at the customer reviews on Yahoo! Travel and Trip Advisor.

What hotel booking site gets the best deals?
Q. I want to do a three night stay in St Louis here in a month or so but I don't have a ton of money to spend on the hotel. I don't want a package deal or anything just cheap hotel stay. Should I go with Expedia, HotWire, Orbitz, Priceline, or Travelocity? Or is there one I don't know about that's better?
Thanks
Curtis

A. You can get a good prices on hotels with this:
http://www.hotelscombined.com/?a_aid=26451

I've used it and it checks all major booking sites for deals.
Links to the websites of the hotels show up in the results. (when they have their own website)

Have fun in St Louis.
