Q. I'm going to be going to Vegas for my 21st birthday in a year (generic i know) and i was wondering what are some good hotels on the strip that are affordable but clean? I have read about the Flamingo and wanted to know if anyone has stayed there and has any comments about their stay? Anybody have any other suggestions as to what hotels may be good? Thanks a bunch! Are there any hotels in the center or near to the center of the main strip that allow 18 or 19 year olds to register? Thanks! A. The only hotel on the strip that still allows 18+ check-in is Riviera, and it's toward the north end of the strip. It's not very close to most of the action, but there is a monorail stop nearby. The only other nearby hotel that will allow 18+ check-in is Las Vegas Hilton - it's just off the strip. All other hotels on and near the strip are 21+.
