Q. Hershey Hotel is too expensive. Hershey Lodge is just barely affordable. I'm talking my Mom along who is a princess so we're not camping. A. Think we payed about $79 per night. It also includes free long distance calls and a welcome reception if you join their free club. Q. Well Im staying at The Hotel Hershey with my family and I was wondering if you stay there do you get to go in the park a couple hours early like other parks do. A. Yes, you get to access the park one hour before it opens to everyone else. What is the building on the hill acoss from Hersheypark? Q. Not the Hotel Hershey, but the building just above the floral "Welcome to Hershey" sign. Is it a school? A. Yes. It's part of the Old Hershey Boy's school. What it is now, I'm not sure. Many years ago Hershey operated a school for orphaned or single parent boys. They operated all aspects of the park, farms and industrial sections of the Hershey empire.
