A. I don't know of ANY hotels/motels that allow dogs to stay in the room when you're not there. Especially dogs as yappy as Chihuahuas are. I would just bring them with you for sightseeing. Pike Place Market is very pet friendly for walking around. The other option would be to check them into a pet motel while you're in town. Many PetSmarts have boarding that's very inexpensive. Most of the LaQuinta hotels allow pets - but again - don't leave them in your room. Not only against the rules but VERY annoying to anyone left there listening to them yap all day long. There are often also weight limits and an extra fee. There will be a grassy area, usually near the parking lot, where your dog can relieve himself whenever you take him out to do so. You will need to have baggies to pick up your dog's waste. They are generally required to be leashed at all times when outside the room. Q. I noticed that pet friendly hotels have same type of carpets. They look durable for high traffic and regular stains. We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I'm looking the best carpet for our dog. Is "Cut and Loop" carpets same as those on hotels? We have porcelain tiles "wood look" on 1st floor but to cut expenses we are looking at carpet on the 2nd floor of the house. I pretty much research and an average DIY person. I'm just asking valued opinions, similar experiences and experts on pet friendly carpets. A. A cut loop or any dense, short napped carpet that is not a loop such as a berber.
