Q. Regardless of their location, what would be a better option (clean, good customer service, better restaurants etc) between stratosphere hotel and Tropicana Hotel? I figured out both of them were cheap and have good reviews. Thanks! A. Definitely Tropicana because the have remodeled rooms that are practically new and the service is better. Q. I'm going to be staying at the stratosphere hotel in about 2 weeks and I was just wondering what are some things that are around it, besides casinos. A. I stayed at that hotel not to long ago. You have to either walk or ride the bus to get to anything fun. Of course the hotel has its own attractions, shows, tower, food, casino, shopping, and rides. But its at the end of the strip and away from all the big hotels and downtown that have more stuff to do. I would suggest making a day trip for both downtown and the strip. Then in the evenings go to the tower to see the whole city lit up! Like I said you have to walk or ride a bus to get anywhere. And if you ride the bus get a 24 hour pass for like $7 and you can ride the bus all you want unlimited in that 24 hours. Have fun and be safe! Q. Are the hotel rooms located in the tower itself??? Or in a building on the side of the Stratosphere tower? I've never actually looked at the tower up close, but I don't recall ever seeing windows along the sides of the tower. A. The rooms at the Stratosphere are not located in "THE" tower, they are however located in towers. The Stratosphere "World Tower" rooms are their standard ROH rooms - It was the tower that opended with casino in 1996. The new "Premier Tower" rooms opened 3 years ago or so.
