Also, we were wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a nice hotel that was centrally located. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated A. the weather in August is normally quite good, temperature in the mid 20'sC on good days not too much rain. But the weather in Ireland is notoriously temperamental and unpredictable, so the last two August's have been miserable. there was more rain in August 2009 than in September. But this is unusual, i'd expect good weather every August but i'd also keep the brolly handy.
