Q. My friend and I are going to Boston for some baseball games in May and we want to swing through New York City too. Now I found awesome tickets that would drop us in Boston and fly us out of NYC back to Milwaukee. Looking for a hotel such as a Hampton or Comfort in from which we can easily access the historic areas and colleges such as B.C., B.U and Northeastern U. A. I would recommend the Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree. While it's not NEAR these schools, what you asked for is EASY ACCESS to the schools. You can go to the Braintree or Quincy Adams MBTA (which is called "The T" for short) and take it to the various schools. All the schools you mentioned are easily accessible via the Green Line. You can catch the Red Line at Braintree or Quincy Adams (there's ample parking at either station) to Park Street Station, catch the green line to the schools you want to visit, and then you don't have to worry about finding a parking place.
