Q. My boyfriend and I are going to Lovefest and staying in a hotel afterward. We want something romantic to return to afterward, and we would really love either a large jet tub or large walk in shower with waterfall facet. I have been searching but it's not something you can just check on the amenities, apparently. Any suggestions/ideas? Or know of any hotels that offer this? A. Q. I live in L.A and I can pretty much get to Pomona like in an hour. I want my parents to Claremont because I want to see a college campus (Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Colleges) However; I want to know how far it is from Pomona? A. When driving from LA, Pitzer is about 6 miles past the Pomona Fairplex where the LA Co Fair is held. FYI, this Sunday from 1pm - 3pm, at the Glendale Hilton, there is the Claremont Colleges Reception, where representatives from the colleges will discuss the benefits of attending the colleges. It looks like while you can't register online anymore, you can register at the event. There is no charge, except parking at the hotel if you can't park on the street.
