Is there anywhere to park near my New Orleans hotel?
Q. I'm going to New Orleans at the end of June, and staying in the Hotel St. Pierre. We were not originally planning to rent a car, but now we think it would be best because we'd like to do some driving around the southern states that are not that far away. Our hotel has a very tiny parking lot, but I've heard it's a crap shoot as to whether a spot can be found, or not. Do any of you locals know if there is any parking nearby our hotel that would be safe to leave a rental car? A. There are parking lots around the Saint Pierre and the hotel can direct you to them. Try to avoid renting the car until you are ready to drive away from New Orleans so you don't have to worry about parking, or paying for parking.
