Which hotel location is more convenient for sight seeing in Amsterdam?

Q. I'm planning to visit Amsterdam, Netherlands next week. I would like to know whether the Marriot Hotel (located between Leidseplein and Vondelpark) or the Renaissance Hotel (located between Central Station and Dam Square) would be more convenient given the winter weather. Which hotel location is better for tourist to see the major attractions in the wintertime? Any other travel tips for exploring Amsterdam in December? Thank you. A. The Renaissance by all means (I've been to Amsterdam, and I am a hotel manager of 8 years ). The location is beautiful and close to stuff thats historic, and entertainment - the redlight district, the hard rock, lots of tours n stuff. I cant find anything on it! A. Here Taking the Metro from CDG to Renaissance Paris Hotel Le Parc Trocadero? Q. Can someone please help me out with getting from the airport to the Renaissance Paris Hotel Le Parc Trocadero 55-57 Avenue Raymond Poincare? There are four adults, two of us will have roll-ons and the other two will have backpacks and we arrive on a Saturday morning. The hotel is by the Victor Hugo stop. I know we'll have to use the RER also, but I don't understand how all of this works. Will someone please explain in lots of details? We can take roll-on on the metro, right? Thanks in advance for the help! A. I see you've asked a few questions about this, so it seems to be causing you a bit of anxiety. Not to worry, once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy. I do...

What can I do within walking distance of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport and Renaissance Concourse hotel?

Q. What can I do within walking distance of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport and Renaissance Concourse hotel? I have a number of hours between arriving flight and check in, as well as check out and departure. What can i do within walking distance? Say within 10 blocks. Movies, attractions, bowling, arcade, etc...? A. There are no good options here, except for taking MARTA into the downtown area. There is no way to actually walk from the airport, to anywhere close by...no sidewalks, etc. And, the areas around the airport are exactly the types of areas you want to be walking around it anyway. Are there hotels in Los Angeles that do not have the 21 yr old age requirement? Q. I'll be 18 soon and i was planning a trip. I would like to stay at the Renaissance Montura Hotel in Los Angeles, but I could not find the age requirement there anywhere. A. It's unlikely that they would allow anyone under 21, especially around New Years Eve. If you are traveling to the area (more than...

What other hotels are close to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia?

Q. My boyfriend and I are going to an anime convention held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel this September. The Renaissance Hotel is already full and we are looking for other hotels in the surrounding area. If you could please just provide a list of hotels close to the Renaissance Hotel, I would deeply appreciate it. A. Anime Weekend Atlanta, yes? XD I went a few years ago (don't think I'll make it this year unless I actually move up there.) My friend had made the arrangements though and we stayed at a Holiday Inn. Try looking at the AWA website. Last time I checked, they had a list of nearby hotels (One within walking distance... as is the mall, if you care). If not, I'm sure there's a website that will list hotels near a certain place. Though if you have a car and good directions, I woudn't worry too much about it. It's unlikely that they would allow anyone under 21, especially around New Years Eve. If you are traveling to the area (more than 150 miles from home) sometimes they will make an exception if you can prove that you're not local with your drivers license. Basically, they want to keep 'locals' out because that is generally just a party. You would need to call a few hotels and talk to the front desk manager and get confirmation before you book the reservation. What's the better hotel to stay at if you are from out of town? Q. I want to hit up all the tourist attractions in Houston, which hotel makes more sense to stay at? Flying into the airport where I'll get a rental car.
