Q. I am going to the Dominican Republic in a few weeks to La Romana but when I search online for hotels the cheapest is like 90 dollars. I am wondering if when I get there will I be able to find hotels, like away from tourist areas, for cheaper? Like around 60 US dollars? A. Q. 3 to 4 people. I'm thinking 2 in the front and 2 in the back with the seats down. Some friends and I are going to a concert and we don't want to pay for a hotel. Cheap-o I know, but still. There is a bat watching cruise thing in Austin that is cheap that goes out on town lake, or there is inner space caverns which is really fun to do in Round Rock. There are a lot of places to shop at. There is also something called Wonder World in San Marcos near Austin. I have never been but it looks great. Also the cheapest hotel I have seen in Austin area is Red Roof Inn.
