Some people are really thrifty while others can use up a million dollars in a day. I think you should keep a lot of money for Singapore because everything there is really expensive compared to BKK and KL. You should probably save like 5 bucks for each meal as well so you always have enough money for food. I don't think changing currencies really makes a big difference but Canadian is probably better.
