Q. I am planning to stay at Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel, I'm going with 4 friends and I checked the rates and its way cheaper if i put 2 people instead of 4. Has anyone tried this before? You get the same room regardless if its 2 or 4, but do they actually keep an eye out for this type of thing? A. I can't believe some of the answers given so far. What more do four people use in a room than two? Security doesn't have time to count the people in the room ... OMG .. with over 4000 rooms at the MGM ... you got to be kidding that security will check. How much time do people actually spend in their room in Vegas? Q. I am taking a trip to las vegas and staying at the mgm hotel casino, could you help tell me if any celeberties own a place at the hotel, thank you so much for your help! A. You can't "own a place" at the MGM, except for the MGM Signature (which is what I think you mean). The Signature rooms can be bought/owned but still be rented out by the MGM's reservation department as "inventory"....the other option, would be in a "celebrities that own a place at the hotel" catagory might be a restaurant...that could be Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, or Joel Robuchon's. Q. theres two hotels that are listed. They are : The Signature at MGM Grand and MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Thanks to all who help.. the prices are about the same.. Probably a 10 dollar difference.. But seems the same price? I want to see the boxing.. which hotel should I go to? A. The Signature is actually condos in several towers out behind the MGM Grand. They rent out these units like hotel rooms. They are connected by a walkway and have their own check in. Nicer accommodations at the Signature. Important to consider is the fact that the Signature will add a $20.00 per day "Resort Fee" that you have to pay separately when you arrive. So is it really a $10 difference? Q. I am curious to know how i could become a lion trainer at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. A. I plan on being an exotic animal trainer, I found a community college in california that has a program for it. Its called Moorpark College. I would go to their site for more information. Can't get much better than an actual animal training degree. Other than that, Experience is always better. Zoology, biology, animal behavior degrees all are applicable. I've heard from seaworld trainers that Child development classes are useful too. As for age, you would have to contact MGM directly. ALL trainers are attacked or hurt at some point in their career. Q. I'm thinking about the MGM Grand hotel and cirque du soleil is performing there as well. I'm trying to plan a trip for December. A. I went to Las Vegas two summers ago and we walked the entire strip. MGM Grand was one of my favorites. It's so beautiful. I would have loved to stay there. It really just depends on what you are looking for though. Like Treasure Island is just a fun place to be. The Sirens of TI perform every night. The MGM Grand has an elegant atmosphere. We stayed in Circus Circus which would be a great place if you have kids. They have circus performers there through out the day, and they have an amusement park inside. = ) Good luck picking. Q. As soon as I walked into the MGM Grand hotel/casino in Las Vegas, I was overcome with a lovely scent. It was especially strong in the lobby. Does anyone know what scent they use, and if it's available to purchase anywhere? I'd love to be able to smell it at home.
