Best Hotel Deals

Q. I've got a bunch of Marriott Rewards points (200,000) and Starwood points (100,000) that I'd like to use for a trip. It will be for my family or maybe just my wife and I. We definitely prefer tropical locations, but probably limited to US/Mexico/Caribbean locations. Any suggestions on the best resorts to consider? We're looking for a great hotel and a good deal. Good diving/snorkling and or kids club is a big plus. Also, finding a place with 2BR units or villas would be awesome. Thanks! A. We were on a cruise last year that included Grand Cayman and we drove by the Marriott Beach Resort there. It had been rebuilt after a hurricane and it looked fantastic. It's right on seven-mile beach and within walking distance of several things to do. I believe they also have a shuttle to Georgetown which is also very close (5 minute drive).
