Going to Mackinac Island with my class, what do I need to know?

Q. My class is taking a class trip to Mackinac Island next week, and I need to know 1. What to pack 2. Things to do 3. Who has the best fudge 4. Cool places to see 5. A good excuse to get out of horse-back-riding 6, And anything else you might think of! A. Some great places to visit on your trip are the Mackinac Island Butterfly House, Haunted Theatre, ride on a horse-drawn carriage, The Grand Hotel is very interesting to see. You'll want to go horseback riding at Mackinac Island State Park. There are plenty of hiking and biking tours available on the island. Joanne's Fudge is yummy. May Candy Shops has many flavors of fudge to eat, like Cherry, Rocky Road and Peanut Butter, to name a few. They are both excellent places for fudge. Some good malls are Surrey Hills, Lilac Tree Mall located downtown, and Carrousel Shops on Market Street. They have all the souvenirs and more that you'd want. As for what to pack, I'd be prepared for both fall and spring weather. I

How do I give a vacation to my boyfriend as a Christmas present?

Q. For Christmas, I'm planning to give my boyfriend a trip to Mackinac Island in Michigan. I've got all the planning done - hotel, ferry to the island, restaurant reservations, etc. - but now I need to think of a way to actually give him the present. It's not as though I have a ticket to the island, and I don't have confirmation details for the hotel because I called to make the reservation. I want to do something creative, something that will be fun for him to unwrap. What should I do? A. Ok first find some brocures or maybe a book about Mackinac Island, or a book about Michigan with a bookmark on the Mackinac Island section. Got to a crafts store and get a box of some sort that you could decorate. Or take an old shoe box and wrap the top and bottom parts seperately in wrapping paper. Inside the box, you can put the book or brochure. Did you make plans to do some sort of activity while on the Island? Ex. golf...you could get a golf tee or golf ball and put inside. Se

She is a 10 pound Shih Tzu/Pekingese. We probably can't take her into restaurants, but does anyone know what establishments, beaches, and tourist areas will allow dogs? A. You will not be able to go into the shops, galleries, attractions or museums with a dog, and being summer, you can not leave the dog in your car. These best thing to do is to leave your dog at home with a friend, or board her at a good facility where she can play with other dogs and have a camp experience of her own. You'll
