Q. I plan to stay with my family a couple of days in Las Vegas, and did a reservation in the Luxor Hotel. I liked Luxor because of the good promotions they have, such as the "all you can eat" package and the Criss Angel shows they offer. However, due to the bad reviews I have read about this hotel, I might cancel the reservation and might consider other Hotel. Is Luxor a good option...? What other hotels can you suggest me with similar or better promotions? Thanks in advance. A. Luxor is an Ok hotel but not the best deal you can get on the strip. Here are the problems with the Luxor. 1) There is a resort fee of $14.50 they will tag on per day. So whatever they are quoting you is plus the resort fee per day. 2) Criss Angels show sucks and is actually one of the worst shows in Vegas. Q. I'm going to Vegas on Thursday and was wondering if it's cheaper to take a cab, or a shuttle from the airport to the Luxor hotel. A. If one or two passengers then use the shuttle.
