How does a pet friendly hotel work?
Q. I might be staying at a pet friendly hotel and I was wondering how it worked. I don't want anything to happen to my dog. When and where would he relieve himself? Any other info would be great! Thanks!
A. Hotels that allow pets have very specific rules. The usual restriction is that the dog must not be left unattended in the room at any point for any length of time. There are often also weight limits and an extra fee. There will be a grassy area, usually near the parking lot, where your dog can relieve himself whenever you take him out to do so. You will need to have baggies to pick up your dog's waste. They are generally required to be leashed at all times when outside the room. Nothing will 'happen' to your dog, since you will have to be with him at all times.
are there any pet friendly hotels near disney world?
Q. Hi,
I am wondering if there are any pet friendly hotels near Disney World, or do you have to board your pet?

A. The Seralago Hotel & Suites Main Gate East is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel allows pets, although I believe they have a limited number of rooms pets can stay in so you should make a reservation early. They are conveniently located, within a couple miles of Disney World. There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well as Old Town. They have great amenities (like a mini-fridge and microwave in every room) and several recreational activities. Best of all it's completely affordable to stay there, it's a really nice place.
This is their pet policy:
"We have a P.A.W. (Pets Are Welcome) Policy. We are happy to welcome responsible pet owners to our hotel. Small dogs 40 lbs and under are welcome to stay in our special assigned Deluxe Standard Guest Rooms (limit 2 pets per room). We charge a non-refundable $40 fee for necessary cleaning services. Certain rules apply."

What are some great pet friendly hotels in Seattle, WA?
Q. we're going on vacation with our 2 chihuahuas and we're looking for a pet friendly hotel downtown or around the center anyway. not crazy expensive. also, an hotel that is ok with letting them stay in our room when we're away for a couple of hours. thanks!
A. I don't know of ANY hotels/motels that allow dogs to stay in the room when you're not there. Especially dogs as yappy as Chihuahuas are. I would just bring them with you for sightseeing. Pike Place Market is very pet friendly for walking around. The other option would be to check them into a pet motel while you're in town. Many PetSmarts have boarding that's very inexpensive.
Most of the LaQuinta hotels allow pets - but again - don't leave them in your room. Not only against the rules but VERY annoying to anyone left there listening to them yap all day long.
