Is New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas a good spot for young people?
Q. I'm going to Las Vegas for the first time this summer with a friend and we're 21 and 22 so I'm wondering if the New York, New York Hotel is a place where the party is at.
I know from seeing it on the real world and every where else that the Palms is where it's poppin', but has anyone stayed in NY, NY Hotel before and will I have a good time there? Do alot of people our age stay there?
Thanks for ur help!

A. Here is the average daily rate in 2009 for the MGM hotels.
Circus Circus=$44
Excalibur=$54
Luxor=$72
Monte Carlo=$76
New York=$90
MGM Grand Las Vegas=$106
The Mirage=$118
Mandalay Bay=$142
Bellagio=$192
==================
NYNY is about in the middle price. It has the advantage over the Palms that you can walk to dozens of clubs, bars and restaurants . Although it is not marketed primarily to young people, I think you would be very happy there.

Generally in a hotel once you have the room booked & paid for, do they allow visitors?
Q. I booked a king superior room at the Ravel Hotel in NY. Do hotels normally allow visitors? I would of course have to call and ask tomorrow. If anyone can help out right now though, that would be great. Thanks!
A. Yes. Fees may be charged if the person stays overnight.

Where is the cheapest place to stay while visiting FIT in NYC?
Q. I need to visit the Fashion Institute of Technology and I live in Michigan so im not very familiar with NY. What hotels are cheap that are close to the school? Maybe in Brooklyn really close to Manhattan? Thanks for the help!
A. If you considering staying in Brooklyn, may I recommend the Marriott New York at the Brooklyn Bridge, which is located at 333 Adam Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The hotel is not far from the Borough Hall subway station on the #2 and 3 subway line, which you can take to FIT in about 15 minutes.
