How much are hotels in New York?
Q. How much is the average motel/hotel in new york? Looking for as cheap as you can get, but also not a run-down place. To be more specific, the Manhatten area. I've tried checking online but it barely helps. So, from experience, can anyone tell me how much a cheap hotel there generally runs you?
A. Hello,
It's not easy finding even a 2-star hotel under $100 a night in Manhattan. The average price is well over that. I did find a few cheap ones though. You can see pics of the rooms and read reviews at the source listed below:
Lower Manhattan
Bowery's Whitehouse, 340 Bowery, $44
Sun Bright Hotel, 140 Hester Street, $42
Hotel 309 New York City, 309 West 14th Street, $88
Midtown Manhattan
New York Inn, 765 8th Ave, $88
Chelsea Highline Hostel, 184 11th Ave, $30
Econo Lodge Times Square, 302 West 47th Street, $63
The Vanderbilt YMCA, 224 East 47th Street, $86
Upper Manhattan
MichaelNY Hotel New York City, 15 Sylvan Terrace, $88
This should get you started. Hope it helps.

A. = Staybridge Suites near Times Square was a great place to stay in NYC. The room was very new - nice and clean, comfy bed, and bonus kitchenette. Everything you need for a realxing stay - the fridge is great to keep drinks and water etc. Staff was very helpful and professional.
Does Hotels in New York City have parking facility for hotel guests ?
Q. - we are planning to visit NY city as tourist for the coming long weekend (july 4th)
- we will be driving from Atlanta GA on car
1) Now when we book a hotel in New York City, any 3-4 star hotel, do they have parking facility where we can park our cars during that 2-3 days when we stay in there hotel ?
2) If there is a fee ? how much would it be ?
3) any other alternates for car parking for people who visit NY by car ?

A. John, ask the hotel you'll pick, when doing the reservation.
