Where should we stay in London? Hoping to catch a West Ham game and one other premier team?
Q. Am planning my husband's 40th and am hoping to get free tix to a West Ham Untd game and one other premier game. Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United? Any suggestions on place to stay, pubs to hit, and games to catch? He's a huge soccer fan...
A. Depending on your budget, stay in any hotel around the Paddington area. You get good connections by train to Heathrow airport and other parts of the city. You also be within access to all the tourist sites. The Hilton at Paddington is great on location. There are tens of pubs that have a live football screening all over the city or you can go to the sports bar at Baker street station.
What hotels in Newcastle are cheap and close to the metro radio arena?
Q. Hey going to Newcastle on 5th November and staying over night till the 6th, could use tell mr what hotels are close to the metro radiostation and that are cheap? Thank you :)

A. Straight opposite the Arena is a Jury's Inn hotel - you can usually get rooms from lastminute.com for about £80.
A little further around the corner is a Quality Inn - unsure how much etc.
There are travellodges, premier inns all over the city.
If you look online at hotels, if they don't say near to Arena, you can look for something close to central station (the arena is only a short walk away)- anything from St James Park or the Station would be suitable for walking distance.
That said, if you want to be "in the thick of it" you will be better off staying on the Quayside (Gateshead Quays) and jumping in a taxi (probs only cost a few quid)

Can my 16 year old son book into Premier Inn with a friend?
Q. Premier Inn's website classifies children as 15 and under. My son and a friend are going to a concert out of town soon, and it would just be handier is they could stay the night and get a bus home in the morning. If my son is 16 and his friend is 15, can they book a family room as 1 adult, 1 child? Thanks.
A. No way, to check into the vast majority. Of chain hotels you must hold a major credit card in your name, even if you pay cash, some times the min age is 21 sometimes it's 25. The reason your co side red an adult at that age is because you probably use an adults portion of resources by that age.
