A. These are the best restaurants in town. See what part of town you want to live in and go from there. I competely agree with the guy above about you should look into Eddie V's, but I would go with Jeffrey's ...it is a little more exclusive. Depending on how good you are..you can get on average a 20%-25% tip.

Total for round-trip flight and 3 night stay is 476 dollars w/ all taxes included. Is this a good deal? I dunno b/c i don't travel much that's why i am asking. Thanks.

A. Yes, that is a great deal. Book it.

Have a great trip!

How to get married at a courthouse (in Texas)?
Q. Just asking for future reference, and also do the bride and groom dress up, get flowers, rings, ect?

A. I went to the JoP office a few times in Austin (filing evictions), which is also one place where marriages are performed. They had pictures of brides and grooms on a bulletin board who had been married there. Some were dressed up in formal wedding regalia. Others were not, though they all at least wore something nice.

If you wish to wear a gown and carry a bouquet, that's perfectly fine. A short ceremony is performed, and you can exchange rings. In Texas, there is a mandatory waiting period of 72 hours after you obtain your marriage license, so make sure to make time for that. Also, the license fee is something like $70, but you have it reduced a LOT if you take an optional pre-marital course. At least, that was true in Dallas. Not sure about other municipalities.

Oh, and if you're in Austin, the Driskill hotel has a lovely honeymoon package. The W in Dallas does, too. Good luck, and congratulations. =)
