What are the cheapest hotels in Las Vegas?
Q. What are the cheapest hotels in Las Vegas? Anything on the strip.
A. The Flamingo is cheap.
We stayed at the Flamingo from 8/29/10 - 9/1/10. The room was $50.00 a night.
Every one who works at the Flamingo was very nice, friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet in the morning and the dinner buffet in the evening at the Paradise Garden Buffet in the Flamingo was excellent.

Which two hotels should I stay at in Las Vegas for my vacation?
Q. I keep hearing about so many great hotels in Las Vegas I think I am going to divide my stay into two hotels rather than stay in one the entire time (planning on 3 nights in one and 3 nights in another). Which two do you think I should stay in? It's my first time going to Vegas.
A. Your idea sounds creative and fun. I suspect you're a person who will have a great time no matter where you end up. Here's my itinerary:
(1) Wynn: It's won more five-star and five-diamond awards than any other hotel in America, so start your vacation here and relax for a few days. Bring comfortable shoes... most of the Strip is accessible from Wynn, but the Southernmost casinos like Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NYNY, and MGM Grand, will be too far for most people to walk.
(2a) Golden Nugget: The rooms and hotel are just average, but you'll get free admission to their completely awesome shark tank/swimming pool. You'll be downtown, in old Las Vegas, where each casino has at least one really good restaurant. However: Downtown is seedy, and if you wander away from Fremont Street you'll see it immediately. If you don't want any grit in your vacation, consider:
(2b) Monte Carlo or Planet Hollywood: Again, average hotels, but right in the middle of the action-packed south Strip. You'll have walking access to all the casinos, bars, clubs, shows, and restaurants you could ever want.
If you're over 35, I recommend trip a. Under, trip b.
Don't forget the Grand Canyon, and I personally enjoy walking in Red Rock Canyon immensely.
Avoid:
Vdara. Their pool, between two mirror-glass high rises, will fry you like an ant under a magnifying glass.
Sahara. Their buffet isn't so good.
Paying club promoters. Call the club directly first.

Which is the most luxurious hotel in Las Vegas?
Q. I want to book a suite in the most luxurious hotel in Las Vegas. I don't want to drop more than 600 dollars a night, but I want the suite to be really well-appointed, with a good bathroom.
Which hotels do you guys recommend?
I like contemporary hotels, rooms with modern furniture. Good views. Excellent service.
The Aria has terrible reviews though.

A. You're going to have a hard time finding a really well-appointed suite in an upscale, luxurious hotel in Vegas for $600 or less a night.
The most upscale hotels are Venetian/Palazzo, Bellagio, and Wynn/Encore. Aria as well, but it sounds like you aren't interested in it. All 3 of those first hotels are classy hotels with great service. The view depends on where your room is located, but they all have the potential for great views.
Caesars is another great place - not quite to the same level as the others, but very close and very nice.
Venetian/Palazzo is an all-suite hotel, so even the standard rooms are small suites. The bathrooms are very nice, and the rooms are nicely furnished. It's one of my favorite places to stay on the strip.
