A. it depends on what you like doing. Like walking around is free, and stopping off for a couple of drinks and a meal will prob set you back about â¬60 each.
But if you want to go to some attractions well then, the bus tour is â¬15, entry to Guinness is â¬15, and most other attractions are around that or cheaper.
Alcohol is expensive, but some of the bars do specials on gin & tonic for â¬5, they don't do the 'splash' way of serving soda, so you always have to get a bottle , which adds up the cost, although the measures of spirits are double what you get in UK. A pint is anything from â¬4.80 to â¬6.50.
Food in bars is ok, approx â¬12.50 up for a good size main meal. But a lot of the restaurants are doing early bird specials, I got a 3 course meal for â¬20 a few weeks ago. The recession is good for something.
I'd bring â¬250-â¬300 each, but that would be me on the lash on Saturday night, and doing the tourist stuff on the Sunday.
Don't bother shopping, it's a lot more expensive, unless you go to Penneys, the original Primark.

Do you need to book the Dublin Aircoach in advance?
Q. Traveling from Airport to hotel in Temple Bar area. Can we buy a ticket when we arrive at the airport, or should we book in advance? Is there price differences from booking in advance or paying as soon as we arrive in Dublin?
A. You can buy a ticket directly from a company representative at the airport arrivals stop at Dublin airport or alternatively you can purchase one from the driver when boarding the Aircoach at any of our stops.
These tickets are valid when travelling to or from Dublin airport to any point along any of the Dublin routes.
This link should help you with any further questions you might have. Enjoy your trip.

How miserable is it in Dublin in January?
Q. We are thinking of going to Temple Bar to see if your beer and whiskey is as good as everyone says. The only time we can get away is late January/early February. How's the weather then?
Thanks everybody for the answers so far. Doesn't sound too bad to me, since I intend to be inside drinking most of the time. What's wellies? Boots I presume?

A. January in Dublin is about the same as every other month, rain, and showers with some sunny spells, except it'll be cold.
Check out the dates don't clash with six nations rugby,as prices for hotels shoot up,for home games, but you will be guaranteed a good time.
Actually late January prob a good time to come, won't be too busy, and we'll all have gotten paid after the Christmas splurge.
