Is Austin planning a light rail or new tollways to keep up with all those new buildings they are proppnig up?

Q. I went to Austin last weekend for the first time in a year and noticed a lot of new construction downtown (the Austonian, 360, W Hotel, Amli 2, Four Seasons residences, etc.).

Everyone knows traffic is absolutely intolerable in Austin, so what is the city doing to plan for all those new people that are going to be living in the city? Dallas and Houston already have light rail. New toll roads are always on the table in those cities. Is Austin planning on adding light rail and/or toll roads to ease the upcoming clusterf*ck?

A. Austin is fond of adding toll roads, but not light rail.

Q. The W hotels are contempary luxery hotels expanding worldwide to milan italy, st petersberg russia. singapore, hong kong, and dubai. Where is a place you think they should expand to explain.

There are many events here that draw musicians and people in the film industry that would like the W.

Need to plan a quick trip but don't want to drive any resources?
Q. Looking to go to Austin from San Antonio roundtrip and just overnight stay. Plus would need early check-in too. Just want to avoid driving cause of gas costs. Would like to be able to plan transportation w/hotel together and for affordable prices.(low-cost)
Also 24 years old, rental car is out for me.

A. Just in case you don't know; you can check with the rental car agency in your city and see if there are any cars that need driving to your destination because of an overstock in your city . Some times you can get a cheap or free trip if you do the driving of their car using their gas.
