Which east coast beach is best for a quiet getaway?

Q. My Mom and I are looking for a beachfront property somehwere on the east coast (preferably the northern half of the country) to rent for a weekend in late September. I'm having trouble figuring out where we could go for a quiet weekend--we don't want to be surrounded by people and we would prefer to rent a small, beachfront house or condo rather than stay at a hotel. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

A. Vail, Colorado. It's a two hours drive from Denver. In my opinion, it's the best mountain in the United States. I don't know what you mean by "overpriced" because that is a matter of opinion, but they have a great village and they have a lot of hotels in the area, so you'll find what your looking for. I am a level 9 skier and they have a lot of great runs in Vail for all levels. They have a nice combination of blacks and double blacks, it's a huge mountain and will definitely take a good week to cover most trails. It also gets really good powder! It's not too crowded, but all mountains get crowder during the tourist seasons (near Christmas and spring break). All ski resorts have snow machines, so snowfall isn't too relevant. Vail has seven back bowls, so if you get there early (via gondola), there's some amazing powder you can ride through. They have some pretty nice tree trails too.

Another nice thing about Vail is that it's right near Beaver Creek (neighboring ski resort), Breckinridge, Keystone, A-basin, and Copper so if you do get tired of Vail, you can go over to another mountain. All of these are top ranked in the world, so they will have sufficient amount of trails for all levels.

What's the easiest way to get a hotel in nantucket, and which is the best.?
Q. I heard you can rent buggies and stuff out in the island how do you do that also?

A. Go to Yahoo Travel and search for Nantucket. You can see a lot of hotels, their prices and reviews.

What's a buggy? But I know there are rental stores everywhere on the island (bikes, etc)
