How much is a motel in Manila?
Q. I don't need anything fancy, just something basic that isn't infested with cockroaches. How much should a place cost per night? If you know of any hotels in Manila or places to just walk in and get one, please help me out.
A. Somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 pesos ($20) per day for a fine and safe hotel.

Wat are the Best Hotels in Manila to hold any group party?
Q. I and some of my friends are planning to hold a small get together party. But we want it in a hotel with swimming pool and spa amenities. We are planning to spend one whole day or night in that hotel where we could use the pool and have some massage service or sauna maybe. We are looking for hotels that can accommodate our small group - maybe 5-8 people. Our budget is not so posh. Less than 5k is really good. Any hotel that you know of? A good hotel...excellent customer service....? Thanks!

How much money would I need to travel to the Philippines?
Q. I looked it up on Expedia.com and its about $2000 for round trip flight and hotel in Manila, but how much extra money should I bring for food and other things for about 5-7 days for 2 people?
A. Food :
2 people can have a good, proper meal at P1,000 or P3,000 per day. That means P21,000 for 7 days, or US$466. You can cut that down to half if you eat in more modest restaurants, or spend less than a quarter of that if you have your meals in fast food chains. If you stay just 5 days, take the proportion from this 7-days budget that I estimated.
Other things : This is vague. But if I assume just transportation cost, you could get by with P500 a day for the two of you, taking public transportation. If you will be taking taxis to nearby locations, then maybe you should budget P1,000 per day. That makes P7,000 for 7 days, or US$ 155.
