Which is better for a family vacation with kids: Maui or Barbados?

Q. I am trying to decide whether to go to Maui or Barbados for a summer vacation with my family. We have to kids. Which island is better for kids? Please only answer if you have been to both islands. Thank you!

A. I personally recommend Barbados as my family have been going for 28 years (all my life)
You don't need a visa (if UK citizen)
Cheaper, less connection flights and flying hours) more british
Nice environment and Plenty of kid friendly hotels good ones for example:

What's the best place in the Caribbean to visit in April?
Q. I am looking for the perfect balance between isolated fishing village and over-developed beach full of high-rise hotels. Somewhere with nice hotels and stuff to do (restaurants, a town, etc), but not TOO Cancunized. Also affordable. Any suggestions?

A. The Caribbean is pretty much a large destination,with many choices like do you prefer English/Spanish flavor like Dominican Rep which is a great place to visit with amny options,my advice to you is to research were you want to go,do see shop and etc;
Pricing also plays out big,so doing research on were you'll get good bargain which should be taken into consideration.
