How much is a taxi from Dulles Airport to Washington, DC?
Q. Like, to somewhere central like the train station or a downtown hotel.
Or is there a better / cheaper way?
Or is there a better / cheaper way?
A. Dulles airport has an exclusive with Washington Flyer taxicabs; rates into downtown D.C. (it is approximately 25 miles to the White House) are approximately $61-57 without gratuity or service charges ($1.50 for each additional passenger).
Washington Flyer also offers SuperShuttle vans; shared van rates are about $30 per rider.
The least expensive routes would be: 1) to take a Washington Flyer circulator ($10 one way) to the Metro Rail West Falls Church station and head into the District for about $7.45; or 2) take Metro Bus #5A from the Terminal into the District (L'Enfant Plaza) for about $7.45 depending on the time of day/day of the week/payment (Metro-issued SmarTrip cards get reduced rates over paper passes).

I need the cheapest transportation options from newark airport to the crowne plaza hotel in englewood,NJ?
Q. My friend and I are flying to Newark Airport to spend some time visiting New York. We want to find the cheapest way to get to our hotel from the airport but we also do not want to waste too much time traveling.
A. this is not the easiest location to get to from the airport.
no bus or train goes to the hotel from the airport, and there's not even a simple transfer you have to take. more like 2-3 transfers.
the only way to get there ok is to go from the airport to new york city by train, then double back into nj on a bus.
so.... your options are either 1) take a taxi $50.
or 2) ride the airtrain monorail to the njtransit train stop newark international" take the train into new york penn station. then walk 8 blocks up to the port authority bus terminal at 41st st. at the bus terminal take a nj transit bus back into nj to your hotel in englewood.
the #166 nj transit bus goes there

there are other nj transit buses that go to that hotel from nyc, but they do not depart from the port authority bus term. they depart from the george washington bridge bus terminal at 178th st. i.e., #178 nj transit bus

Which hotel did they stay in the Bachelor where they could see the washington monument out the window?
Q. My boyfriend and I go to school in DC and would love a nice hotel like that for our anniversary and would love a place like that for our anniversary! Please post if you know which hotel.
A. I can't think of any hotels that would give you such a view, except maybe the J. Willard Marriott on 14th Street near Freedom Plaza. And you'd want a pretty high floor. I can tell you that you can get an okay view of the 4th of July fireworks from Freedom Plaza.
For all we know, they were faking the view.
