Is it safe to book hotels on websites such as booking, venere, hotelworld etc. ?
Q. How come they have lower prices than on the official hotel websites ?
How does it work ?
How does it work ?
A. I've been using the Venere site for the past 11 years since I moved to Italy. I've never had any problems with the site in all that time booking hotels here and elsewhere in Europe. I have two bookings through them right now for this month. Basically, you just book the hotel you want. They'll e-mail you a confirmation of your booking. It's a good idea to print that and take it with you, but I've never actually needed the printout anywhere I've gone. In a few cases with special rates, the hotel may charge your credit card immediately. If this is the case, you will be told on the site before you book. Most of the time, you pay the hotel directly at the end of your stay.
Which hotel is closest to the entrance of the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, California?
Q. We are a family who will be walking and would prefer not to walk a long distance. I've read the various hotel websites and have been amazed to get so many conflicting answers from them. So which hotel is closest?
A. It depends on what you use for "close". The Grand Californian has it's own entrance to California Adventure but depending on where you are in the Hotel you may be a couple hundred yards from an entrance to Disneyland. It is also going to be the most expensive hotel, 250+ a night, and the + can be into 4 digits if you go for a suite.
Because Disneyland has 2 entrances(The Monorail that will take you to Tomorrowland, and the main entrance). The Disneyland hotel is closes to the Monorail station entrance but if you want to go to the Main Entrance, there are other non-Disney hotels that are closer along Harbor Blvd. The 3rd Disney Hotel is the farthest away as it is past the Disneyland Hotel.
Along Harbor Blvd the closest is going to be the Best Western Park Place Inn and Park Vue Inn, these are literately right across the street and there is a cross-walk within a couple hundred feet of the motels. But there are others that may not be as close but may be a bit better for you. Such as the Howard Johnson a little farther down Harbor, and the Candy Cane inn a little bit father still(the other direction). One other thing is that just about every hotel/motel in the immediate area will have a shuttle to the parks, the only difference is if it one provided by the hotel or part of the ART(Anaheim Resort Transit) routes.
