"There's no better way to get to W Hoboken from any of the major metropolitan area airports by taxi or airport shuttle, where a cab or airport shuttle will whisk you to our doorstep in just 20 minutes (45 minutes during rush hour)."
The W Hotel was listed as providing airport shuttle service but does not say if it is included in your hotel stay or an extra cost.
Hotel Features
* Business Center
* Room Service
* High-speed Internet
* Fitness Room
* Restaurant
* Parking
* Pets Allowed
* Airport shuttle <--- see, it didn't say free
* Disabled Access
At Newark Liberty, to get most airport shuttles, you should take the elevated AirTrain to Station P4. Check with the W Hotel to see where their shuttle departs from the airport.
If the shuttle isn't free, you can compare the cost to the one that I have provided below or use the helpful directions the other posters gave you.
Safe travels.

What is the closest hotel to Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey?
Q. i dont want to pay alot for this hotel. i looked into the W Hotel and they want around 220.00 a night.
A. Actually, there are places in Jersey City that are cheaper than the "W". I wouldn't say walking distance per se, unless you don't mind a good walk, but the PATH station is there (Newport/Pavonia) along with light rail access that goes to Hoboken.
Along Washington Blvd. you have the Courtyard - $179, The Westin - $152 and the Doubletree - $150 (average prices).
If money is really an issue, there is the Holland Motor Lodge along the Lincoln Highway. ($120). It's not near the light rail, you would DEFINITELY have to walk from there and being not far from the road that leads to the Holland Tunnel, it would be pretty noisy.
