How do i get to galway bay hotel?

Q. how far is the Galway Bay Hotel from the train station??

A. You can take the bus from outside the train station. It will probably be marked Salthill, and it stops almost outside the hotel.
You could also take a taxi for approx ⬠8 - â¬10.

If I am going to be in Galway for the last week in July, is going to the Galway Races a must?

Q. I would like an extended stay and it sounds like the hotels are expensive. I am 60 and have never stayed in a hostel, do not know anything about them. I would not sleep well with other people in the same room.

A. some hostels have dormer rooms where you would be sleeping with other people...but there are a lot that will have single rooms! and you will get a hostel for a much lower price than a hotel...i definatly think if you are planning on staying that long that you go for the cheaper option! it can be so expensive! Ive only ever stayed in a hostel once in dublin a good few years ago, i was with a few friends, so we all stayed together! it was fine!
