Where's the best place to stay at when I'm staying in Spokane, WA?

Q.

A. It really depends on how much you're looking to spend. If money is no object, then the Davenport is the nicest hotel in Spokane. I'm going to assume that you really don't want to blow all your money here though, so might I suggest the Oxford Suites? It'd be about $140.00 a night for 2 adults. They have great ammenities though. If that's still too much then there's the Double Tree (I'm not sure how much, it might actually wind up as more). You could also probably save a little money by staying in Spokane Valley, a suburb. They have quite a few hotels right off the freeway at exit 291A. If you want to be in Downtown though, I would definitely suggest the Oxford Suites.

I'm the head of the Prom committee and i need so ideas for a cool place to host my Prom! Can anyone Help?? The davenport is too expensive at this point in time.
There are 410 students in my class but about 100 probably wont go. So i would say there would be about 300 students there

A. Cool place? That might be possible but probably unlikely.

You don't state the number of expected prom-goers. It's important because I haven't found any places that can handle a big group except the Davenport.

But then again I don't know the expected size of the group. You probably don't either so I would suggest getting estimates for 2 proms. A large one and a not-so-large one.

Below are some possible locations:

The coolest is Bear Creek Lodge. It however can handle only 125 inside. If you can guarantee a nice evening they will take care of 250 outside:

2 other places not on list above. They would be okay for a "not-so-large" group::

That leaves the Davenport. It guarantees lowest rates for comparable services:

free ADVICE:

Your committee has a moderator or sponsor that woks for the school administration. Ask that person where the previous classes have had their proms...go from there.
