Which Caribbean island not Jamaica, Barbados or Trinidad would you recommend for a vacation?

Q. Somewhere with good night life, reasonable hotels and places a 7 year old would find interesting. This is supposed to be in July so maybe any island that has carnivals or any special festivals during that time.

We have already been to the 3 islands excluded.

Anyone know anything about Antigua especially?

A. Puerto Rico has excellent nightlife!! In Old San Juan there are tons of bars & pubs, nightclubs, live bands, casinos & more! There is alwasy a festival going on in PR :) In July the Salsa Congress will be in PR & will be performing shows. Also there are patron saint festivals & carnivals of many towns in July like Rio Grande(el yunque rain forrest), Fajardo, Morovis, Catano, Barceloneta, Guanica, Vieques & Loiza. Many have parades, music, food & more. Manati & Arecibo have beach festivals in July.

& it is very kid friendly also. You can take a 7 yr old to El Morro, the ancient spanish warfort. This is a must see & kids love it too. Plus there are kids flying kites all around here. You can go to Camuy Caves (the 3rd largest caves in the world) & Arecibo telescope (the largest radio telescope in the world). Oh & the beaches in PR are gorgeous too. Rincon is great for surfers. Culebra & Vieques are practically secluded white sand small islands of the coast. Oh & El Yunque rain forrest is cool . U walk down trails & u reach La mina waterfalls where u can take a cool dip. There are tons of kids parks also. The Arecibo lighthouse has a kids pirate park. There is also a science park w/ Nasa shuttles in Bayamon. There are waterparks, iceskating rinks & a zoo.

I'm planning a vacation for next summer and I want to know which is better Aruba or Barbados?
Q. What hotels or resort would you recommend?

A. Never been to Aruba but have been to Barbados many times. You can drink water right from the tap and have no stomach problems; same with the food. Try to stay near "The Gap" because it's where a lot of nice restaurants are and also lots of activities. I imagine it will be very hot in Barbados in the summer! We always stayed at Casuarina but it's changed ownership and is now all-inclusive, which doesn't appeal to me because of the many fine restaurants, all within walking distance.

Have a great holiday.

How strictly is the drinking age in Barbados enforced?
Q. In December I am going to barbados with a group of friends and some will be 17 at the time. I believe the legal drinking age there is 18 but I want to know if they will still be able to get into nightclubs and bars and things like that during our stay there.

A. The drinking age is not really enforced. You can still get into clubs/bars (hopefully) - there shouldn't be any problems once you don't look like 11 or something like that. However, I was informed it's 18 and up to get into.

As far as I am concerned, I've never seen them check for any identifications but then again, it's not really enforced.

Besides, you can even get Bank beers from supermarkets even small shops especially from gas station stores, too.

So that you know, nightlife can be seen not only in St. Lawrence Gap which not only has clubs but restaurants/bars especially hotels and that nightlife can also be seen among Bay Street such as Harbour Lights and The Boatyard. Then there's Club Xtreme on Main Road in Hastings.

And if you mean nightclub(s) that involve stripping, then it's a different story.

However, The Boatyard's website appears to be down at the moment.

Last but not last, St. Lawrence Gap:
