How much spending money for a panoramic European Trip?

Q. My husband and I are planning on going on a honeymoon from October 21- November 2nd next year once he gets home from Iraq. We will be in Europe 11 full days and cities include London, Paris, Lucerne, Venice, Florence and Rome. All hotel accomodations and airfare are included as well as 11 buffet breakfasts and 3 dinners. How much should we take for the both of us so we can sightsee, eat out and buy souveniers and such? Thanks!

A. If all the other expenses are paid for, a total of 500 to 1000 USD should be enough, if you don´t be excessive in spending. Better take a credit card with you.

How to get from Fiumicino Airport to Vatican City late at night?
Q. I'm arriving at 11pm on the night I land in Rome. My hotel is Hotel Raganelli. Is taxi the best option?
Are there shuttle buses to the hotels at that time of night? Would that be any better?

I'm guessing I'm looking at a taxi fee rate of about 50 Euros?
Also: are the taxis safe? What kind should I look out for (any particular colour or logo)?

A. Yes, at that time of night I'd just get a taxi directly to the hotel. The last train from Fiumicino leaves for Roma Termini at 11:38 pm. There's a good chance that you won't be able to get to the platform for that one and you would still have to get a taxi from the train station to the hotel.

How do I get from Fiumicino Airport, Rome to Hotel Cardinal below Vatican city?
Q. Arriving at 22h at airport and need the safest and quickest way to get to hotel, any suggestions ? I know there is the Leonardo Express that goes into Termini station and there's an FR1 Service to Trastevere but how do I get from there to the Hotel which is on Via Leone Dehon?

A. A cab from the airport to the hotel is the most efficient way to go, but that will cost 40 euro plus a small supplement for the late hour. At the late hour you arrive, there is only one remaining train (at 22:57) and that does not get you to the San Pietro station until 23:41. If it were me, I would check with the hotel regarding the transfer service they supply (see the hotel website above) and then either go with that or a cab despite the extra cost.
