How would i move from Glasgow to Manchester?

Q. Im 20 and looking to move from Glasgow to Manchester and was wondering what the first step would be? ive applied for jobs but they all say no because i live i Glasgow. i just dont understand how i can find a flat to rent if i have no job in Manchester, and how could i get a job in Manchester if i have no flat. also i wouldnt mind a flatshare so i could meet friends :)

A. Simple. Raise enough money for 6 months rent on a property in Manchester plus hotel bills or B&B's while you look for a house, then just go. Go, check in to somewhere while looking for a house/flat whatever and start applying for jobs. At least you'll have 6 months in Manchester

are there any hotels in scotland(mainly glasgow or perth) who will accommodate 4 adults sharing?
Q. I am looking for a hotel room on the saturday of t in the park. There are 4 of us and we would rather get a room together than pay for 2 rooms when we will probably only use one anyway!

A. Groucho St Judes 190 Bath St, part of the chic small hotel but open to non residents. The restaurant serves modern Scottish food with lots of char-grilled fish and meat and very good puddings.
