What are the best places in the US to take a honeymoon?

Q. We decided not to bother with passports plus itd be cheaper to stay in the country. What are the best vaction spots/hotels BESIDES Hawaii!

A. You can still go to the Caribbean without a passport. Consider the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico if you want to go somewhere warm and don't want to fly all the way to Hawaii. Or FL is always a great choice. I live in Florida, right by the beach, and there are plenty of romantic places to visit in Florida. Just stay on the West Coast of FL because you'll get the sunsets there and it's more romantic!

Try contacting a travel specialist to help you. http://www.myparadiseplanner.com offers free help planning and booking honeymoons, vacations and destination weddings. They are excellent.

How does this honeymoon sound and any suggestions?
Q. We ( my future husband and I) are going to stay at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel in Hawaii. We are staying for 10 nights 11 days. We are going on a submarine ride through the ocean. Doing 2 different dinner cruises, going parasailong, a helicopter tour and ziplining. Any suggestions on what else we should do or visit? We are staying on Kona/ Big Island. Any restaurants or anything?

A. Scuba off the Kona coast. If you are not certified, they can take you out on a beach dive. Get a car, and visit Waimea horse country, home to the Parker Ranch, one of the largest ranches in America at 250,000 acres and also one of the oldest in America dating back to 1847, visit the beautiful Kohala Coast, immerse yourself in the Hilo culture, and visit the many orchid farms in Pahoa, Walk through the gorgeous Akaka Falls state park...also probably where you will zip...Tour Waipio Valley along the Hamakua Coast. And walk out to the lava flow and/or take the boat tour of where the red hot lava is pouring out into the sea...(heard that was the new cool thing to do) Go to Southpoint, (Ka Lae), and engage your husband in a romantic kiss on the cliffs and for those few fleeting moments, be the southernmost people in the U.S. ! Also, a relatively short hike east from that point will take you to a green sand beach...(the semi-precious stone, Olivine, gives the beach it's color...)

Any website recomendations for hotel reservations?
Q. I am looking for a website to book room at hotel in Hawaii at a rate lower than when i do by calling the hotel directly. This must be other than the many vacation packages related websites. Something perhaps that serves only for booking hotels! Any recomendations? Thanks.

A. hotels.com
expedia.com
orbitz.com
travelocity.com

anyone will do, they will pretty much be the same.
