Where can I find a good deal on a hotel in Chicago for a few nights? Will need to book in the middle of Oct.?
Q. I already live here, but a friend is visiting and we just want our privacy away from my nutty roommate. Would love to get something downtown, but everything looks a bit too pricey. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or info on possible locations for coupons or special deals would be a life saver! Thanks.
A. Well, you can count on Expedia.com. Itâs really convenient to find cheap downtown hotels and make reservation on this site. I used this site a couple of times and found it was reliable.
1- However, the cheapest room rate on Expeida.com is 127 USD. The Congress Plaza Hotelâs rate would be only $127, if youâre booking for stays between 26 Sep - 29 Sep, 2011.
2- I checked reviews on tripadvisor and found another downtown hotel in Chicago. It is ranked 91 of 167 hotels in Chicago. Rates start from $84 per night. You can book it online or call 1-800-238-0767.
The Tremont Chicago Hotel at Magnificent Mile
Location: 100 E Chestnut St Chicago, IL 60611 United States of America
3- You must have heard Hampton Inn hotels before. Well, the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago â downtown also offers affordable rooms, from $76 per night. Check out its official sites for more details.
33 W Illinois St Chicago, IL 60610 United States of America

According to the reviews online, itâs great. Itâs ranked 16 of 167 hotels in Chicago.
4- Beside, you can check out the official sites to see current prices for the following hotels. They can be found in and around downtown area, and always have affordable rooms available.
** Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown at 15 E Ohio Street, Chicago, IL 60611
** Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown
40 E Grand Ave Chicago, IL 60611 United States of America
1-866-599-6674
** Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown - Magnificent Mile
630 N Rush St Chicago, IL 60611 United States of America

As for coupons and specials deals, I recommend you to check out RetailMeNot.com, DestinationCoupons.com, ChicagoTraveler.com etc. I always find coupons for hotels, zoos, and parks on these sites. They might be helpful for you. ^L^
Or you can visit Chicago Craigslist to see if thereâre any good hotel deals for you. Well, this site just offers almost everything we might need. And itâs harmless to check its long listings out. So, just give it a try. Might find useful info on it. :)

Any good hotels or deals close to Wrigley or with access to L?
Q. Staying in Chicago in mid May, trying to find best hotel (price, location, etc..). Going to Wrigley for a game and want a hotel with parking and within walking distance to the "L". We are driving up Friday and checking in that night, going to a game on Saturday around noon, leaving on Sunday. Any other suggestions on the stay are welcome.
A. Days Inn is 1 mile south of Wrigley Field!! Good luck parking!!
What are good, cheap hotels in Illinois close to Chicago and dont have to be over 21 to book a room?
Q. I need a cheap hotel near chicago (can be 20-30 miles away from Wrigley Field) i want a hotel that's nice to stay in and can be checked in by someone NOT 21. Im taking my girlfriend to a Cubs game and need to find a nice hotel to stay in. Im looking for a hotel $100 or less. Anyone know of a place?
A. Most hotels will accept you if you are at least 18 and you have a credit card.
You can find lots of hotels anywhere outside the downtown area that are under $100. Some downtown hotels offer weekend deals for under $100/night. Simply go to something like hotels.com, expedia.com, etc. and look for hotels which satisfy your criteria.
I might suggest you look for hotels in the suburb of Evanston IL, near Northwestern University. Most do have rooms under $100. You can walk to a CTA "L" station and take the train to Wrigley Field. [Take the Purple Line to Howard St, and transfer to the Red Line to Addison.]
There are dozens of places you can find.
