Is Tessera a part of Venice (Italy)??? Urgently need to know. Please help.?
Q. Im currently doing a project that involves doing research for planning a weekend conference in Venice. When searching for hotels with all the needed facilities one called Courtyard by Marriott keeps coming up. However it is in Tessera? So i was wondering if Tessera is a part of Venice?
A. Tessara is not part of Venice but on the mainland.
The reason the Courtyard keeps coming up as a conference facility, is because hotels in Venice itself are rather small and not many would provide the facilities you're looking for. So, many people hold conferences on the mainland, and just visit Venice.
Some hotels in Venice that might be useful for your project are:
Westin Europa and Regina
Hotel Danieli
Delfino Hotel
and hotels on the island of Lido in Venice, such as Biasutti Hotel Venice Lido or Hotel des Bains Lido.

And how much would an Medium Luxury one cost ?

A. Venice can be extremely expensive, so I would say around 3 to 4 thousands dollars per couple per week if you want a luxurious one, around 2 or 2.5 thousand for a lower level.
There are two luxury hotels in Venice and they are the Cipriani and Danieli, I would suggest either one if you go for the luxury option.

What is the most expensive and romantic hotels, foreign cities, and shops to take someone for an anniversary?
Q. I have a friend who has a longtime friend that has been married for 1 year now, and he wants to take his wife somewhere really special, and romantic for their anniversary. Money is definitely no object for him so he said that he really wants it to be as expensive as he can get, but it still needs to be beautiful, and romantic. He wants to sweep her off her feet, lol.
So any suggestions on where he should take her? He was hoping for a romantic, and expensive, luxurious hotel stay in a beautiful romantic country. The best!
He also said something about some really classy, and expenive shops to take her to, and a really classy, and expensive 5 star restaurant. I'm not sure what type though.
So basically the most romantic cities in the most romantic countries, in the most romantic hotel, with the most romantic, and expensive restaurant. Any place like that? I'm really trying to help him out, but I have no idea. I thought maybe Venice, Italy or Paris, France. He wanted really expensive everything, nothing cheap. Keep that in mind!
Any help will be great, thank you!

A. Come to Venice and stay at the Hotel Cipriani: http://www.hotelcipriani.com/web/ocip/hotel_cipriani.jsp or the Danieli: http://danieli.hotelinvenice.com/ . When you're not eating at their restaurants, try Quadri http://www.quadrivenice.com/ . Relax in the Grand Caffès in Piazza San Marco - an espresso alone can be up to 8 euro when the musicians are playing.
