Q. Im currently doing a project that involves doing research for planning a weekend conference in Venice. When searching for hotels with all the needed facilities one called Courtyard by Marriott keeps coming up. However it is in Tessera? So i was wondering if Tessera is a part of Venice?

A. Tessara is not part of Venice but on the mainland.

The reason the Courtyard keeps coming up as a conference facility, is because hotels in Venice itself are rather small and not many would provide the facilities you're looking for. So, many people hold conferences on the mainland, and just visit Venice.

A. Venice can be extremely expensive, so I would say around 3 to 4 thousands dollars per couple per week if you want a luxurious one, around 2 or 2.5 thousand for a lower level.
There are two luxury hotels in Venice and they are the Cipriani and Danieli, I would suggest either one if you go for the luxury option.

Q. I have a friend who has a longtime friend that has been married for 1 year now, and he wants to take his wife somewhere really special, and romantic for their anniversary. Money is definitely no object for him so he said that he really wants it to be as expensive as he can get, but it still needs to be beautiful, and romantic. He wants to sweep her off her feet, lol.

So any suggestions on where he should take her? He was hoping for a romantic, and expensive, luxurious hotel stay in a beautiful romantic country. The best!

He also said something about some really classy, and expenive shops to take her to, and a really classy, and expensive 5 star restaurant. I'm not sure what type though.
