How to deal with my husband's cousin wanting to come over for sightseeing from Tampa to Denver uninvited?
Q. my husband's cousin wants to come over for sightseeing from Tampa to Denver uninvited, along with her husband. I have a 4 month old and 3year old, and physically exhausted most of the time. They came last year uninvited when we were in NYC, and we ended up spending 500 bucks for their sightseeing. No one offered any help when my younger one was born. I want to say no but unable to find a polite way to do this.
A. Politely tell them while it is not a good time for them to visit due to the time and financial demands of a new baby, but that you would be happy to check local hotel pricing for them.
As they have previously imposed uninvited, perhaps they believe you enjoyed their last visit and would welcome another...... make yourself clear or risk setting yourselves up for yearly visits!
Good Luck

How hard would it be to get to NYC's theatre district from Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott?
Q. Need to get to the Neil Simon Theatre, and am not at all experienced in getting in and around NYC. I would be taking my 10 year old with me--possibly just the 2 of us but maybe my husband and son (age 15) as well. Is this going to be a huge hassle? What would various options cost me? Looking for all suggestions--THANKS!
A. May I make a reccomendation... perhaps you'd like to stay closer to NYC??? There should be more options for you.. But if you can't, call the hotel to see if they offer a shuttle bus to NYC.. most of the time they do.. if not.. they do have to offer one to the airport.. and if you travel back to the airport you will have access to several buses and I believe a train or two that can take you directly to midtown manhattan and the theatre district. Most likely the buses will take you to 42nd Street Port Authority Terminal.. its the main terminal and the Neil Simon may be like 10 mins or so walking from there.
Hassle factor- more than I'd want to deal with if I were on vacation, Cost - reasonable.. besides.. there is nothing to see near the airport.. There is a nice mall nearby.. ask your hotel about service to Jersey Gardens/Ikea. Good luck!

How much would a 2-3 day trip to NYC from North Carolina cost?
Q. I have always wanted to go and take a few friends. For one person, how much would it cost to visit New York City, stay for a couple or a few days, shop a little bit, eat out, have fun. I'm only 16, so my mom would go as well. How much would it cost for four people total? How much are hotels and cabs and what's the cheapest way to travel from North Carolina? Thank you in advance.
A. NYC is not a cheap place, so you are probably looking around at least $800USD/person (this will include flight+hotel+some spending $). Make sure you book thru a coupon site to save some money, i know coupon sites like coupondawg.com will offer deals from travelocity, expedia, and agoda sites. Also, taking the subway travelling around will save some extra money, plus it's really convenient to take the subway in NYC.
