Please recommend a hotel in Downtown Palm Springs walking distance to shops and restaurants under $100 a night?
Q. Going to Palm Springs but want to stay walking distance to shopping etc for under $100 a night. Can you recommend a nice property for a solo mom on a budget? Thanks!
A. I can tell you, but you can't tell a soul...
Andreas Hotel is a small hotel that's pretty cheap. You're right in the middle of town, which can be good and bad. Ask for a room towards the back, not facing Highway 111 (Indian Canyon Rd). The rooms facing the front are really noisy.
Just down the road in Rancho Mirage, the Hilton Garden Inn is even a little nicer, and also inexpensive, with a good location.
Have fun!

Which hotel do you like in Palm Springs?
Q. I'm trying to find a nice hotel in Palm springs but every hotel has good and bad reviews i don't know which to choose. I want something fairly new and modern and clean but not over $200. Which hotel would you reccomend for a couple in their 20's?
A. You really can't go wrong with any hotels located in Palm Springs. The Hyatt is located downtown and therefore right in the middle of everything... great views looking down on the strip. Honestly, just pick one of the least expensive, they will be in a fairly good area, as there are no "bad" areas of palm springs, try to stay downtown though. Make sure to take the tram up to San Jacinto! It's so much fun and it's like visiting a different world, so different than the desert below :) Have fun!
