A. Taxi will be too much, it is a similar distance to Heathrow.

There are fast, frequent train services from Waterloo station to Twickenham. Then a short walk up Whitton Road.

The last train back to Waterloo is 00:11, 7 days a week.

A. Twickenham is about 13 or 14 miles from the bridge. The nearest tube station to the hotel is Richmond and that is in zone 4. There are plenty of hotels in zone 1 or 2. Try hotels.com for some deals on hotels.

A. Either take it apart brick by brick and re-assemble it like a giant 3D jigsaw puzzle (eg, London Bridge, now in Arizona) or jack it up and put many many dolly wheels under it. This latter method is done often to move historic buildings that are in the way of construction.
