What is cheapest form of transportation from Dulles Airport to Marriott Wardman Park Hotel‎?

Q. Our chapter is attending a national conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotelâ in Washington DC and we have no idea how we are going to get from one place to another. Is there any buses, shuttles or trains?

Thank you!

A. The cheapest way would be to take Metro bus to the Rosslyn or West Falls Church Metro and then Metro to the hotel. Metro trip planner says that'll cost you about $4 and take an hour but I would count on it taking longer (up to twice as long) depending on when you fly in.

What are the cheapest hotels in New York City?
Q. I have stayed in Bryant Park Hotel, but the period in which I want to travel (next April) is way too expensive ($4500) for a week. What and where are the chepeast yet nicest (above 3 stars) hotels in New York City? I would like to be close to Times Square, around 40th Street. However am open to ideas. Travelling middle of April. Thanks.

A. As you've already pointed out, prices can change dramatically during different times of the year, so the only way to really get an accurate quote is to do a search on a website. You can get quotes and compare rates with all the hotels in NYC here: http://www.nycvacationstays.com/hotels.htm Just filter the results by star rating, landmarks and price after you enter your dates & number of guests. Good luck!

How do I get to the Park South Hotel from LGA using public transportation?
Q. Getting to LGA tomorrow night around 7pm. Need to get to Park South Hotel using Public Transportation. I understand I'll need to take the bus to get to the subway but to be perfectly honest, all the A,B,C's and 4,5,6's are completely confusing me. Thanks!

A. Park South Hotel is located on 28th St between Park Av South & Lexington Av.
If you plan to use Bus/Subway, buy MetroCard at Hudson NewsStand.
Central Terminal has MetroCard Vending Machine, however it is only for Credit Card/Debit/ATM Card uses only.
Buy $4.50 MetroCard.
