What is the best area or hotels to stay at in Maui, Hawaii-beachfront?

Q. We are planning a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii in October of this year but have no idea where to stay or what part of the island is better than the other! We would like an oceanfront hotel/condo/resort with atleast 3 1/2 stars. Please help if you have any suggestions!! Thanks :)

A. We have been to Maui twice now and we have always stayed @ the Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Definately a 5 star high class resort. One of the best that we recommend to everyone! It is right on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach and is next to Whalers Village for shopping and many other fun things very close near by.

Hope this helps!

We want to stay on Kaanapali Beach for our honeymoon, can anyone recommend a good hotel.?
Q. We want to stay on the beach. We have a few hotels in mind but I want to hear what others say about the hotels.
And possible activites while on the island?

A. Do contact Kaanapali Beach Hotel. The staff are really geared and trained to serve the honeymooners. It is geared to the Hawaiian experience for the traveler. They have Hawaiian greetings, the staff will sing for you for "no reason", lei making for the fun of it, and right on the beach at Kaanapali.

Oh by the way everybody, Turtle Bay is on O'ahu??????? Wrong island.

What is the Best Ocean Front Hotel in Maui?
Q. This might be a silly question considering it is Maui but which hotels have the best ocean view rooms? I want to be able to walk from the hotel right to the beach. I am going to different hotel sites but I am having a difficult time finding pictures of the rooms. Thanks everyone!

A. Kaanapali Beach Hotel near Whalers Village is very nice. They have great music every night in the back of the hotel and you can walk right onto the beach.
