A. If you type in San Antonio hotels in your search engine, it will bring up the yahoo travel hotels page. Then you can search by price, and location, and see reviews. Also you can compare prices for a room on all the on-line sites through Yahoo.

What is a good hotel in San Antonio Texas?
Q. Looking for a hotel to stay at in San Antonio for a weekend getaway, don't really want to spend more than 75 a night. If you have any suggestions on hotels or activities please share. We are a 23 yr old couple and really just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dallas.
A. Under $75 a night, your best options are probably the following..
1) Quality Inn and Suites at Fiesta Park (about $65 a night). It's a nice hotel, and it's right near Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
2) Hilton Airport is about $80 a night, but sometimes if you go on a weeknight it's cheaper (about $60-$70 a night). It's right near the airport, but it's also easily accessible to the major freeways and shopping centers.
3) Homegate Suites at Fiesta Park. These are about $70 a night, typically.
As far as activities, there's a ton to do in San Antonio. I'd recommend going and seeing the Riverwalk/downtown area, La Cantera (which is an awesome outdoor mall), the Quarry is a pretty cool area, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas is pretty fun. You could also go up to the Guadalupe River and go tubing in the afternoon, which is a fun way to beat the heat.
Have fun!

What are the best hotels/motels in San Antonio, TX that offer weekly or short term rates?
Q. Need hotel/motel or apartment to stay in for 2-4 weeks in San Antonio this July. Just wondering which places may offer a rate that would be cheaper than a normal nightly rate. Doesn't need to be super-nice but not trashy either. Thanks.
A. In Town Suites is very inexpensive. It is located off of Bandera outside loop 410 (everything is better kept outside of loop 410). It only offers 1 week or more to guest. The last time I checked it was about 170 for a week (they have a sign when I pass by). You should go to the web site and check the pics and make sure about the price. If there is a certain area of town you want to be in just email me at rbrivard@yahoo.com and I can be more help.
