Where to park at the Riverwalk in San Antonio?

Q. I'm staying at the Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio, and parking 26 dollars a night. Is there free/cheap parking nearby? I don't mind walking a bit.

A. If it's a secure parking area, it's best just to pay the bucks. Otherwise, you might find your car with a smashed window, looted or even stolen.
Secure parking areas are rare, but worth the difference.

I want to take my kids to Six Flags for a weekend. I live in New Orleans. Where is cheaper?

Q. I'll be spending this weekend (halloween weekend) in San Antonio and I'd like to stay on a hotel right on the riverwalk. It'd be perfect if I can find one that has balconies that overlook the ppl and the river with a lobby that exits directly into the riverwalk. If you know of any that might match this, pls let me know. Any and all input appreciated.
