I often use Priceline to book my hotels and I get an excellent rate. I often book VERY safe 4 star hotels in Midtown Manhattan, right in the center of the city, for $80 per night. They give you a map on which you can select the area where you'd like to stay in any US city.
There is a website which explains all about how to book through Priceline's "Name your own price" program. You may want to check it out and follow the instructions to get the very best deal. If you want a cheap, safe hotel the best way to go is with Priceline's name your own price program.

Which hotel is the closest in walking distance to Disneyland and has the cheapest rates?
Q. I would like to stay at the disneyland hotel but it is to expensive. Can anyone recommend a hotel that is the closest walking distance to disneyland with cheap rates? We are not looking for any fancy hotel.

Los Angeles , Orlando , often known as DisneyWorld , Paris , Hong Kong .
If it's LA , try this link : http://cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/Anaheim-Orange-County/Disneyland/ with your dates - there's about 150 which you can sort by price then check on the map with a route planner to work out distances. . Unless you want to go for very expensive hotels most use distance as a means to charge more. The nearer you are, the more expensive it gets.
But this site has plenty of last minute deals which can save a lot.

How to get best hotel rates in Malaysia, walk in or book in advance online.?
Q. I will be visiting Malaysia in April, im hoping to travel around the mainland and visit some of the East and west coast Islands. Just come back from tunisia where i paid dearly for not booking my hotels online. Just wanted to know what the best system is in Malaysia for getting the cheapest rates. Should i book in advance, or just walk in and negotiate, if i walk in is the marked price considerably higher than online price, which makes negotiating unworthwhile.

A. honestly,book through travel agent r cheaper than u walk-in @ book online,but sumtimes when there's any offer by the hotel,book online r better..i can assure u'll get better rate from agent
