How much would a trip to Paris cost?

Q. I want to take a trip to the Musée du Louvre, but I don't have a lot of money. So I was thinking about saving up, but I want to know about how much it would cost for 2 or 3 people to take a trip there. Not a long maybe like 2 nights there or something. Inlcuding airfare, hotels, and food. Does anyone have any experience and can give me an estimate?
I forgot to mention, I live in California.

A. I am going to Paris in September. I got a return flight from UK to Paris (Beauvais) for £50. Accommodation can be as dear or as cheap as you want. A decent hotel can cost a lot and a clean but basic one can be affordable at around £50 a night for the room not per person. Of course you could stay at a Youth hostel and it would cost next to nothing for a few days. Depends what you want. Spending money for 2 night? Average it on 60 quid a day.

How do i get to The Louvre Museum from Charles Michel Station or Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel Station?
Q. I will stay in a hotel along 82 Rue Saint Charles in Paris so i bet these are the nearest stations to my hotel...

A. The nearest station to you is Charles Michels.

Take metro line 10 (direction Gare d'Austerlitz) to La Motte-Piquet Grenelle. Change to line 8 (direction Creteil-Perfecture) until Concorde.

2 options from here on:

1) Get off at Concorde, and walk down Tuilleries Garden to Louvre. It's a beautiful walk down the park, and Place de la Concorde is a point of tourist interest too.

2) Change metro to line 1 (direction Chateau de Vincennes) and get off at Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre.

Personally I like walking the city than cooped underground so I would get off at Concorde and walk to Louvre. It's only about 5 minutes stroll. :)

What places are worth going to see in Paris?
Q. I'm going on holiday to Paris for a week later this year and would love to see the sights, but cant think of many places to go! So far I've thought of:

The Louvre
Notre Dame

I'd like to go to any of the locations of the Da Vinci Code book, but I cant really remember any of the places other than St. Sulpice.
