Need to plan a quick trip but don't want to drive any resources?

Q. Looking to go to Austin from San Antonio roundtrip and just overnight stay. Plus would need early check-in too. Just want to avoid driving cause of gas costs. Would like to be able to plan transportation w/hotel together and for affordable prices.(low-cost)
Also 24 years old, rental car is out for me.

A. Just in case you don't know; you can check with the rental car agency in your city and see if there are any cars that need driving to your destination because of an overstock in your city . Some times you can get a cheap or free trip if you do the driving of their car using their gas.

Are there any Hotels like W Dallas in Austin or San Antonio?
Q. I know a W opens in Austin Dec. 2009 but Im going on vacation in Nov. I like the contemporary feel of W Hotels
I would not ask this question if I hadn't already tried that idea- I googled to no avail.

A. They are actually building two "W" properties in Austin at this time

W hotel downtown and another (I think it's a hotel or condo) at The Domain.

My fiance and I will be staying in Austin, TX for the weekend. Any good restaurant recommendations?
Q. Our hotel is in the downtown area, so I prefer to stay close to that. We would like somewhere fun, romantic, perhaps a little quirky...but we're not big on the whole college crowd atmosphere. Cost is not an issue. If reservations are recommended, please let me know that too.
