Affordable Golf Courses in Daytona or Ormond Beach Florida?

Q. I am going to vacation in a Daytona Beach Florida hotel in October. Can anyone recommend affordable country clubs or golf courses with a pro shop in the region? I plan on playing on the weekdays when it won't be too crowded. How about driving ranges too? Thanks for any golfing help!

A. If you are looking for "affordable" golf courses, the area has a few city (municipal) golf courses. The Muni's have driving ranges, practice putting greens and pro shops.

Daytona Beach:
Daytona Beach Golf Course - two courses (Muni)
Pelican Bay Country Club - two courses
Indigo Lakes Golf Club
LPGA International - two courses (very nice but pricey)

Port Orange:
The Golf Club at Cypress Head (Muni)
Crane Lakes Golf & CC
Spruce Creek Country Club

Ormond Beach:
Halifax Plantation Golf & CC
River Bend Golf Club
Riviera Country Club
Tomoka Oaks Golf & CC - two courses

New Smyrna Beach:
New Smyrna Beach Golf Course (Muni)
Hidden Lakes Golf Course
Turnbull Bay Golf Course

You can find more info about each golf facility at the Tourism Bureau's golf site.

How does my family buy a florida hotel for a good price?
Q. My family is interested in buying around a 12 unit vacant hotel to own and run for ourselves. Are there any recommendations for going about this. Is there a certain area where deals are the best for buying and flipping a hotel that would make money?

A. Flipping property has pretty much been out of the news for the last few years. Mortgage requirements "Ain't what they used to be".

What are the best Holiday events in Orlando?
Q. I do a TV show every Friday for my school. They are giving us some money to do 4 episodes (which would be 40 minutes) for this upcoming Christmas. We want to do 1 or 2 episodes in Orlando. What are your top 10 holiday destinations in Orlando Florida? Any hotels worth visiting?

We are still thinking about doing HHN 2010 for a Halloween episode. Tell me what you think.

Also is Universal Studios Christmas events worth seeing? I heard Magic Kingdom is 100% worth seeing around Christmas, but the other Disney parks aren't that great.

Thank You.
